Santa's reindeer are getting ready for their annual trip around the world for Christmas. But unlike Santa's reindeer the ones you find in zoos or in Scandinavia, Eastern Europe, Russia, Mongolia, northern China or North America Canada, Sakhalin, Greenland, Spain Siberia, and Greenland they can't fly. These reindeer have very dense fur to keep warm. They also live in large herds to protect them selves from predators including wolves and cougars. Reindeer have been known to eat small rodents, fish, birds, and vegetables. Also they shed there antlers every year. to learn more please go to
